Façade Schema              latest update: 2008-03-01

What is a Façade?

A Façade is a web server with a data base (RDF quad store) that stores lifecycle information in a format defined in ISO 15926-7.

NOTE - "Lifecycle" means from conceptional design to demolition, "cradle to grave".

All implementations that conform with ISO 15926-7 shall have one or more Façades as defined here.

A Façade can only store data that are under the control by the owner(s)/custodians of that Façade.

Sections

Any Façade has seven separated sections:

  1. data
  2. recdmsgs
  3. sentmsgs
  4. populations
  5. handovers

These sections are shown in Figure 1, and have been worked out in detail here.
